Sen. Eddie Joe Williams, Cabot Police Chief Jackie Davis, Fire Chief Phil Robinson, Dr. Scott Hill of Hill and Moudy Family Dentistry and Cabot High School band director Joe Trusty will headline the Cabot Community Theatre’s production of “Here Comes the Bride...And There Goes the Groom” on June 21-22. Both shows will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The one-act play is set at Millie Compton’s wedding “when her fiancé bolts from the altar, leaving everyone trying to figure out why. The wedding just might go on, but not before a purse-flinging smackdown between the mothers of the bride and groom,” according to a news release. Performers and their wives will play “The Not-so-Newlywed Game” during the Saturday show. All About Stage students will begin each performance with a concert. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 501-941-2266. Tickets are $15, but those making reservations for both nights will receive a $5 discount for a total of $25. The theater is at 204 North First St. Source: The Arkansas Leader
